11. Battery Strap Kit with Pad

Like many others, my original battery straps have become weak or damaged from battery acid and 42 years of life. I was missing one of the buckles anyway. This kit took less than 30 minutes to install and it makes sure your battery won't be going anywhere - with style! The spring-loaded tensioning clamp is heavy duty and should last forever. I think the mat is supposed to get tucked under the T/A shield retaining strip and the rear buckle mount but I just let it lay flat on the bottom of the compartment and it works fine.
